A sensational final round from Northern Irishman Graeme McDowell won him the Celtic Manor Wales Open and he looked clean cut and smart in his blue and white golf clothing as he collected the trophy. The competition at Celtic Manor saw McDowell produce a stunning performance to beat Welshman Rhys Davies, all the while dressed in pure white golf trousers, a light blue polo shirt and white cap.
Glenmuir is an official European Ryder Cup supplier and it is at this same course that the prestigious trophy will be contested, which suggests McDowell's performance may not have gone unnoticed by team captain Colin Montgomerie.
McDowell finished on 15 under par after scoring 63 on the final day, with both he and Davies playing some brilliant golf during the day.
He remarked: "The first 11 holes was dream golf and I am ecstatic. I feel like I'm in the form of my life right now and I really feel I have a big event in me."
The next stop on the European Tour is the Estoril Open de Portugal.
