'Interesting' golf apparel helps to raise charity awarenessUnique golf apparel worn by professional players in Australia is helping to raise awareness for a good cause.

The PGA of Australia reports that a number of golfers have been sporting "interesting" golf clothing in the form of multi-coloured shoelaces at the Victoria Open.

Players such as James Nitties, Alistair Presnell and Kurt Barnes have all been spotted wearing the rainbow golf fashion items in an effort to promote the Zaidee Rainbow Foundation.

Launched in 2006, following the death of Zaidee Rose Alexander from a burst blood vessel in the brain, the charity organisation helps to raise awareness about organ and tissue donations made by children.

Earlier in the month, a golf fashion pundit praised the golf clothing of Australian golfers Geoff Ogilvy and Adam Scott.

Writing for the Khaki Crusader, columnist Sean Hotchkiss praised the attire of the players and expressed his hopes that golf apparel firms continue to produce "cool and elegant" attire.
