Golf tournament calls for interesting golf clothing.Golfers taking part in a golf tournament for charity are set to don some interesting items of golf clothing, a report has said.

According to Largenteuil.ca, those behind a golf tournament at the Casselview Golf and Country Club - which is set to take place in September - are calling on players to wear glow-in-the-dark golf apparel.

The Glowing for Funds golf tournament is expected to be held in the evening, so players' interesting golf apparel can be appreciated fully.

"The course itself will feature various luminaries and lanterns to help light players to their hole-in-one goals," the source notes.

Claude Leclair, owner and director of the Casselview Golf and Country Club, said that he hoped the event would attract between 80 and 100 people and that it is set to be a fun event.

Every golfer likes a challenge, notes the news resource - and taking to the golf course in the dark may prove to be quite a challenge for those who participate.

The Leamington Observer recently reported that golfer Andy Hicks is set to take part in a 54-hole golf challenge for charity - and that he will be aided in his night time teeing off with glow-in-the-dark golf balls.
