Kyle Stanley's golf apparel has received praise.

The golf apparel choices of Kyle Stanley have received praise from one commentator.

Writing for the Khaki Crusader golf fashion blog, columnist Sean Hotchkiss recounted the time he spent with the former college player of the year in 2010.

Along with his sponsor, Mr Hotchkiss helped the PGA Tour rookie pick some new golf clothing and has now claimed that his advice has been taken to heart by Stanley.

"Kyle emerged from the dressing room … looking like a new man," he said. "He's really come into his own with the new look."

Mr Hotchkiss went on to say that he has taken the tips and put his own "twist" on them and now dresses more like a professional golfer.

Earlier in the month, it was revealed that UK player Ian Poulter has offered fans the chance to help decide which golf clothing he will wear at a forthcoming PGA tournament.
