The Lake Nona club triumphed in the Tavistock Cup when it came to golf apparel as well as golf play, an expert has said.

Lake Nona golf club has made the golf news for its golf fashion, as well as coming out on top in the Tavistock Cup, according to one journalist.

The event - which is fought out between Lake Nona and Isleworth golf clubs and is open to spectators on an invitation-only basis - took place at Isleworth Golf and Country Club in Windermere, Florida and ended yesterday (March 23rd).

Team Lake Nona successfully defended their title and writing for GolfWeek, Ashleigh Korzack stated that they were also won the award for best golf clothing during the tournament.

She explained: "The sharply dressed Lake Nona team looked sporty in their royal blue polos, which were paired with light grey slacks to seal the deal."

Lake Nona's team consisted of Ernie Els, Ross Fisher, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Retief Goosen Ben Curtis, Trevor Immelman, Peter Hanson and Graeme McDowell.

Mark O'Meara, Robert Allenby, Stuart Appleby, Lee Janzen, John Cook, Brian Davis, J B Holmes, Charles Howell III, Arjun Atwal and Nick O'Hern made up Isleworth's team.
