Lee Westwood wore white golf apparelEnglishman Lee Westwood had to be in fine form to edge out Robert Karlsson at the St Jude Classic and opted for white golf apparel for the final day.

As well as a plain white performance golf shirt, he wore a white cap and a chunky white belt with a large "W" on the buckle, teaming all these white garments with a pair of beige golf trousers.

Out on the links, Westwood tied on ten under par for the tournament with Karlsson and American Robert Garrigus, but the latter went out after the first additional hole and it was left to the two Europeans to battle it out.

The British player remarked: "I've been in contention a lot, especially this year, and I suppose I got a break with other people's misfortune, but made the most of it and took a chance."

Westwood looks likely to appear in golf apparel in the Ryder Cup in October with the season he is having - a competition of which Glenmuir is an official supplier.
