A pattern in the golf apparel sported by Louis Oosthuizen has emerged, with the player seemingly favouring light slacks.

The Open winner Louis Oosthuizen is currently playing in the Nordea Scandinavian Masters and the South African sported light-coloured golf trousers for the contest.

In pictures of the player teeing off on the first day of the event, he is seen with his trademark sunglasses and white cap, which he teamed with a purple performance golf shirt and light golf trousers.

This has become something of a trend in recent times, with Oosthuizen wearing white golf trousers to collect The Open trophy last weekend.

The South African was in fine form again at the Scandinavian competition held at the Bro Hof Slott golf course, sharing the lead after the first day with Richard Green and Dustin Johnson.

"I wanted to play nicely. The last thing I wanted was to put on a bad show and it was important not to think too much about next week," he remarked.

The next stop of the European Tour sees pros line up in golf apparel for the 3 Irish Open.
