Despite the size of the occasion at The Open last weekend, Louis Oosthuizen opted for a sensible combination of golf clothing.

Louis Oosthuizen wore white golf trousersLifting the Open Championship trophy at St Andrews must have been one of the finest moments of Louis Oosthuizen's career and he was dressed in a simple but effective golf fashion ensemble for the memorable moment.

The South African combined pure white golf trousers with a green, striped performance golf shirt and white cap, although his sunglasses were - as ever - not far away.

Oosthuizen's performance matched up to his golf apparel on the day and he was able to win his first major, with the young golfer suggesting that he had not previously lived up to his promise because he did not believe in himself enough.

"Everyone around here is telling me 'you've got the shots, you're playing well'. That win earlier this season just got my mind set in a different way," he said.

The player will now be packing up his golf clothing and heading to Sweden to take part in the Nordean Scandinavian Masters, which begins tomorrow (July 22nd).
