Manassero chose striped golf clothing for the gameItalian golfer Matteo Manassero looked stylish in black and white golf apparel as he took time away from the main tournament to undertake some charity work at the Wentworth Club.

The teenager opted for black pinstriped golf trousers with an eye-catching white jumper that had an accentuated black V-neck collar.

He was taking part in Genworth's 2010 Putts4Charity, which has raised £10,000 so far at the BMW PGA Championship thanks to one-putts on the course, as well as one-putts carried out on especially-constructed greens.

Manassero took part in the latter form of fundraising in his smart golf apparel, raising £1,000 with his shot and described it as an honour to be a part of the project.

"I'm very proud to help out and I'm just glad I made my putt!" said the young golfer.

Luke Donald carded 68 at the BMW PGA Championship for a second day in a row to move up the rankings of the competition, but perhaps most notable were the bright pink-red golf trousers he wore.
