McAllister takes closer look at golf clothing seen at the MastersAn industry expert has analysed some of the golf clothing that was worn at the Masters last week.

Mike McAllister, writing for Chapeau Noir Golf, suggested that although some of the golf apparel worn by players at Augusta on Sunday (April 10th) evening would have worked well with the famous green jacket, the wearers were perhaps tempting fate.

He stated Angel Cabrera's green shirt would have been a good choice had he won but "it's preferable that players take a more subtle approach".

Mr McAllister added that black can often have the desired impact for individuals hoping to secure success on the final day and pointed out the colour scheme has worked well in recent years for the likes of Mike Weir, Phil Mickelson and Trevor Immelman.

Annmarie Dodd recently welcomed the shorter sleeve lengths that were sported by some players at the Masters, noting they were "rising to heights unseen in decades".
