Ryan Moore's golf fashion has been explored in a new PGA Tour column.

American golfer Ryan Moore has expressed his love for retro golf fashion, stating he sports classic golf apparel whenever he can.

In his latest golf fashion insider column, the mysteriously-named Man in the Black Hat quizzed Moore on his unique golf apparel choices.

"It's not for attention or anything like that," he said. "I love this look. I love that golf kind of used to have that look and I like to wear it."

Chapeau Noir Golf recently reported on Moore's controversial decision to "push the boundaries" of golf apparel and wear a grey hoodie at the BMW Championship.

Moore also revealed that tweed was not out of the question for his future golf apparel and said that his lack of a golf clothing sponsor gives him the freedom to choose his own look.

The Man in the Black Hat added that Moore was quickly becoming the PGA Tour's most talked-about golf fashion icon.
