Golf fans looking for a place to take a holiday this year could consider packing up their golf clothes and heading to the famous Royal St Georges course.Writing for the Daily Mail, Tom Chesshyre comments on the course's immortalisation in film.
Royal St Georges, in Sandwich, Kent, can be seen in the James Bond movie Goldfinger, with Sean Connery challenging the villain to a game.
Mr Chesshyre notes that author of the James Bond novels Ian Fleming was a competent player on the golf course.
Commenting on the golf apparel on the day, the writer also tells readers he was expected to wear a jacket and tie in the dining and smoking rooms of the club.
Golf fans looking to jet off to sunnier climes for their summer break could also consider the Turquoise Coast in Turkey.
