John Daly has long been known for his penchant for unusual golf apparel and he continued in this vein at a recent competition at St Andrews.

John Daly outdid himself at The Open at St Andrews' Old Course last weekend, by wearing an array of bizarre and wonderful golf trousers. While his men's knitwear and performance golf shirts do not tend to be too strange, he seems to always crank up his golf fashion sense with what he clothes his legs in.
The Daily Telegraph published a collection of photos showcasing some of the wild golf trousers Daly wore during the prestigious competition, suggesting they are his calling card.
Another factor that compounds his golf apparel is how his girlfriend Anna Cladakis tends to wear a matching skirt or dress.
Some of the wild patterns the pair wore during the St Andrews contest include one with flowers, cars and women, another with the US flag and finally a pair of golf trousers with argyle print on them.
He recently told the publication that perhaps the papers should stop calling him Wild Thing and start using the nickname Mild Thing.
