Scottish player Paul Lawrie, who is sponsored by golf apparel company Glenmuir, has lamented his performance in the recent Qatar Masters tournament.Writing on his official blog, the 42-year-old hailed his second round performance as a "very good day", noting that he was hitting putts much better than in the previous session.
However, when taking to the fairways in his golf clothing for the third round, Lawrie claimed he experienced a "bit of a frustrating day".
In the final round on Sunday, the Scottish golfer mourned the loss of his putting ability stating: "Today was the best ball striking round of the week but when you putt like that it's impossible to compete."
He attributed his poor placement to the wind, claiming that it made it "tough" to get the ball close to the hole.
The Scotsman reports that the Glenmuir-sponsored player claimed he had trouble keeping the mistakes off his card, despite making plenty of birdies.
