A golf fashion pundit has praised the attire of Paula Creamer

A golf fashion writer has hailed the attire of female player Paula Creamer.

Writing for golf apparel blog the Khaki Crusader, columnist Annmarie Dodd commented on Creamer's penchant for skirts and noted the ways in which she has adapted her style during the winter months.

She noted that the 24-year-old has been combining her usual golf clothing with extra layers to combat the cold weather.

"The bottoms layering is a bit too faddish for my liking, but on Paula it seems to be serving its purpose and … isn't purpose always going to win over folly?" said Ms Dodd.

She went on to praise Creamer's use of tops, although she stated that the colour choices could have been better and suggested that black may work well.

In a previous article for the blog, Ms Dodd predicted that the pique polo will be a "must-have" golf apparel item for the 2011 season.
