Golf fashion has become one of the biggest talking points of the modern game, with supporters taking a keen interest in the golf apparel worn by their heroes whenever the major tournaments roll around. The New York Times has noted players are starting to sport unconventional attire - such as different colours and patterns - on the biggest stage.
During the Masters this year, an outfit selected by English competitor Luke Donald - who was recently victorious at the World Golf Championship-Accenture Match Play Championship - proved a big talking point.
The sportsman wore a pink shirt, green trousers and a white visor - and the choice caused quite a stir.
Fashion director at Golf Digest Marty Hackel said: "When Luke wore bright colours, everyone was just so upset about it. But golf is an outdoor sport ... why do we want to dress like we're cleaning out the garage?"
