Women players may be inspired by Yani Tseng's pink golf clothing. Golf fans can expect to see Yani Tseng wearing pink golf clothing on a regular basis after the world number one revealed she now sees the hue as a lucky charm.

The Taiwanese professional made history on Sunday (July 31st) by becoming the first golfer in the history of the game to win five major tournaments by the age of 22 as she retained her Women's British Open crown at Carnoustie.

Tseng dominated the final round of play at the competition to card a round of 69 - finishing four shots clear of the field - and cementing her reputation as the finest female player on the planet.

And after her victory - which was achieved while wearing a white jumper and shorts and a pink shirt - she noted that sporting pink golf apparel will now become the norm for her.

"It's my lucky colour for winning the tournament," Tseng explained.
