Northern Irish player Graeme McDowell sported a combination of grey and pink golf clothing in the first round of the Bridgestone Invitational. He looked comfortable in his pink performance golf shirt and grey cardigan - which he teamed with light golf trousers - and put himself in a great position to challenge for the US contest with a score of 66.
This leaves him tied second on the leaderboard with Kenny Perry, Adam Scott and Phil Mickelson, all of whom are trailing Bubba Watson by two shots.
McDowell, who won the US Open Championship earlier this year, will take to the field again in golf apparel today (August 6th) to contend the second round at Bridgestone.
Speaking at the end of the first day, he said: "I've really been practicing well the last two days and it was nice to go out there and play and hit some fairways and hit some good iron shots and make some putts."
