America's Jeff Overton has broken the PGA fastest time record while showing off his golf fashion.
Published: 17 August 2010
American Jeff Overton made history last week at Whistling Straits' US PGA Championship event as he set a new record for the fastest round time while displaying his keen golf fashion sense. The 27-year-old chose a light blue striped golf shirt, which he complemented with a contemporary white golf visor.
For his choice of golf trousers, Overton went with a classic grey pair with off-white belt combo.
After Ian Poulter was forced to withdraw due to injury, a lone Overton managed to complete his 18 holes in two hours and nine minutes.
On his lightning approach to the final hole, he quickly removed his own pin before holing a seven-foot putt for par.
Overton turned profession in 2005, following a highly successful amateur career which saw several victories.
Since joining the PGA Tour in 2006 he has managed to place well in a number of events but has seen no major wins.
