Retief Goosen misses out at Firestone while looking dapper in slick golf clothing
Published: 10 August 2010
South Africa's Retief Goosen missed out at the WGC-Bridgestone invitational last week but still managed to look his best as he showed off his golf fashion.Goosen sported a subdued blue golf hat with white trim. He complemented this with a pair of classically colour-matched golf trousers.
The 41-year-old opted for a bright orange golf shirt, added to by light yellow and dark brown stripes.
With a whirlwind tee shot on the 15th, Goosen was inches away from a hole in one at the par 3. Unluckily, his ball lipped out leaving the South African with an easy birdie putt.
Goosen put up a hard fight as he chased Hunter Mahan and Sean O'Hair for the top spot but both kept well ahead with 11 under.
After turning professional in 1990, Goosen, also known as The Goose, won on both the PGA Tour and the European Tour in 2002. His PGA Tour win in March 2009 marked his seventh Major victory.
