Rickie Fowler has commented on this season's golf apparel.

PGA Tour player Rickie Fowler has revealed he is pleased with the way in which his golf clothing has been working out this season.

Writing for Fanhouse Golf, Mick Elliot spoke to the young player about his rapid advance through the PGA Tour's qualifying school and the way his first season as a professional had gone.

Mr Elliot claimed that Fowler is positioned to become "the most charismatic" and fascinating personality on the PGA tour in decades.

He also spoke to the 21-year-old about his golf apparel, noting that the young golfer is instantly recognisable in a crowd.

"I like to wear different things, I guess outfits that other guys wouldn't wear," said Fowler. "So the clothes are doing their job and I've been playing well. It's worked out all right."

Fowler's increasing popularity was recently commented upon by Fred Albers as he poked fun at the golf clothing worn by fans of John Daly.
