Golf fashion "iconoclast" Ryan Moore, best known for his penchant for sporting ties while playing, has once again broken the mould by wearing a hoodie at the BMW Championship.Chapeu Noir Golf reports that Moore pushed the boundaries of golf clothing at the event and welcomed the controversial move.
"As long as something is done with taste, style and proper fit, there should be no turning a young man or lady away at the … gate of any club," said the article.
Chapeau Noir went on to explain that, the more it considered the hoodie as a golf apparel offering, the less wrong with the concept.
Moore joined the professional scene in 2006, following a highly successful amateur career and skipping the PGA's Q-school. The 27-year-old has managed to retain his tour card for five consecutive years, in which he saw some respectable results, as well as a playoff win at the 2009 Wyndham Championship.
