Golfers tee off at second annual golf eventA group of golfers took to the golf course for a holiday company's second annual golf day recently, reports the Welwyn and Hatfield Times.

The source says that the second golf day held by Ramblers Worldwide Holidays saw more than 50 players tee off on the Mid Herts Golf Course in Wheathampstead.

The golfers were made up of clients, tour leaders and others from the tourism sector, with sponsors including Fred Olsen Cruise Lines and Keela Outdoor Clothing.

Golfer Scott Ford won the tournament and will now jet off on a three-night golfing holiday to Malaga.

Mr Ford may find that golf apparel worn in the UK is too warm for teeing off on his break.

A lightweight golf shirt may be ideal for playing in warm weather to help golfers not only keep cool, but also protect their shoulders from the sun.

Those visiting the soon-to-be opened biggest golf course in the world, which is in Australia, may also want to stock up on cool golf clothing to help them stay comfortable during play.
