Teeing off on holiday could up need for new golf clothing.

A newly upgraded golf course on the island of Tenerife gets a positive review from Tenerife News.com, with the writer commenting that all workers wore golf apparel uniforms which were "very smart indeed".

The Amarilla Golf Course can offer gamers wonderful views over the sea, the site reports - and the climate is ideal for golfers from northern Europe.

However, locals on the island who are used to a higher temperature might find that a golf jumper or pair of long golf trousers are a good buy for teeing off, the report adds.

The writer says that, on arrival at the course, he was greeted by a young woman in an Amarilla uniform of a moss green polo shirt and trousers.

According to the source, smart golf apparel is the name of the game at the course, as well as golf shoes with soft spikes only.

World Golf recently reported that those looking for golf apparel with "modern-day elegance" could find golf clothing from Cleveland Classics a good buy.
