There is still plenty of time for golf apparel wearers to come good on the PGA Tour this season, it has been suggested.

Jim Furyk has claimed there is still lots of golf to play after admitting he has been disappointed with his start this time around, noting his offseason preparation was not at the level it should have been, Fox News reports.

He observed the best way to recover from the slump is to keep plugging away on the course - adding he is old enough to know that the middle of March is not the time to start panicking.

"It's a long season. I have a lot of events to play well this year, whether that's this week or next week or whatever it may be," Furyk explained.

Another famous face set to wear golf clothing in the near future is Hootie and the Blowfish founding member Mark Bryan, who will be taking part in the Spirit of Cring Golf Tournament for 2011 in May.
