As the weather gets warmer, golfers could find the summer sun persuades them to get out in their golf apparel and improve their playing technique.

In the winter months it may be hard for people to muster up the enthusiasm to put on their warmest golf jumper and take to the golf course.

However, the summer months could be a great time for people to improve the standard of their game, it has been claimed.

The Butch Harmon School of Golf, which is offering a range of summer golf lesson deals this summer, says that people should use the summertime to perfect their on-course performance.

Claude Harmon, director of instruction at the school, said that those at the school have seen a busy summer so far, with many "smart golfers using the summer period to focus on perfecting their strokes".

When taking to the course on a hot and sunny day, golfers may find that a golf hat or visor is the ideal golf accessory to complement their outfit and shield their eyes from the sun's glare.
