While player John Daly romped home in second place at the end of the Italian Open in Turin, his golf fashion style emerged truly victorious.

John Daly secured his first top-ten finish since 2005 with his second place at the Italian Open, but aside from benefitting from a return to form, the golfer has also been making the headlines thanks to his choice of golf apparel.

Finishing the game yesterday, Daly paired a plain yellow T-shirt with some patterned yellow golf trousers - helping him to really stand out among the crowd.

The player has gone off the rails on a number of occasions in the past as a result of drinking, binge eating and gambling, but yesterday witnessed a return to form and potentially the turning of a new leaf in his game.

And while his playing has been catching the eye of the pundits, his outfits have been brightening up the course for all the spectators at the event, held in Turin.

Each day has seen Daly walk out in a different pair of loud trousers, making sure that golf apparel has been the real headline-maker at this Open.
