Tiger Woods has a cool, businesslike taste in golf apparel, it is claimedTiger Woods stepped out in golf apparel which appeared "coolly businesslike" as he played host at the recent Chevron World Challenge, writes Thomas Bonk.

Writing for Golf Digest Digital, he explains that the player donned monochromatic golf apparel for the Sunday final of the event.

This consisted of charcoal grey slacks teamed with a black golf shirt and sports coat.

But Mr Bonk adds that Woods himself might not be hitting the fairway for some time while he allows his knee to heal.

The joint underwent surgery six months ago and Woods claims he is still not back to his best.

"I'm really not that fired up about playing - and that's basically because I can't play," he tells Golf Digest Digital.

When he does return, Woods' golf clothing might still be sponsored by Nike, but his bag will no longer be sponsored by Buick.

It was recently revealed that the automobile manufacturer has withdrawn its support for the bag, leaving it up for grabs for interested sponsors.
