Ian Woosnam is set to take on the Masters in Glenmuir golf apparel.Ian Woosnam - who is sponsored by golf clothing brand Glenmuir - has revealed how the world's best golfers will have to overcome difficult conditions at the Masters this week.

The event tees off today (April 8th) at Augusta and spectators could expect to see players trying to maximise their comfort by sporting performance golf shirts, if the former champion's comments are anything to go by.

"I played nine holes and it felt like 18. It was really hot and dusty, hard work," the Welshman said.

He went on to explain that shorter hitters are going to find it hard this week as the grass on the fairways is unexpectedly long.

Woosnam is eligible to play the prestigious event after winning the coveted Green Jacket back in 1991.

And this year all eyes will be on world number one Tiger Woods, who is making his comeback from his self-imposed hiatus from the sport at the event.
