Golf fans looking to visit one of the world's swankiest golf courses could find that updating their golf fashion helps them feel more at home in their new surroundings.

In an article published in the Vancouver Sun, Steven Bertoni, writing for Forbes, asks what makes a golf course truly swanky.

"Is it a velvety green oasis in the middle of a Persian Gulf metropolis? An ultra-exclusive spread planted with 20,000 pine trees in the Nevada desert, accessible only by limousine, that charges $500 a round?" he says.

For those planning on visiting a golf club which may be a little more upmarket than their normal playing place, a new outfit ticking all the golf fashion boxes could be ideal.

A new golf course with a difference was recently opened in the US, notes the Native Times.

The Pawnee Nation Disc Golf Course opened last Friday (April 3rd), with those who play the sport using a flying disc rather than a traditional golf ball.
