Young golfers are responsible for a change in the golf fashions which are seen on the course, it has been noted.According to the Irish Times, young players have "changed the way players kit out" when donning their golf apparel and taking to the golf course.
The newspaper noted that the golf apparel of younger generation of golfers has also led to amusement over golf fashions as checks and flairs by non-golfers to be put "to the rubbish bin".
"These days, the wardrobes of male golfers are more likely to feature vibrant colours rather than traditional beige or grey," the article pointed out.
In terms of golf accessories, young players may often be seen keeping their golf trousers in the right place with a belt boasting a customised buckle, it is also noted.
Meanwhile, in other golf news, plans for a new golf course in Scotland were unveiled yesterday.
The Forrester Park Resort in Cairneyhill, if built to plan, will include a five-star hotel, fishing loch, golf course and Michelin-star restaurant, reported the Scotsman.
