Young golfers tee off at St Andrews in items of golf apparel.

A group of golf apparel-clad young players have been awarded with a number of prizes after taking part in the HSBC Wee Wonders Championships, it has been reported.At the end of August, a group of young golfers - aged between five and 12 - donned their golf apparel and took to the golf course at St Andrews to compete in the tournament.
This week, the youngsters were presented with their prizes by the ambassador for the HSBC Wee Wonders event Nick Dougherty, reported the R&A website.
"The standard at the final was absolutely phenomenal and the good thing is that the kids have got really great attitudes and they learn really great lessons from the tournament, Mr Dougherty told the source.
Founder of Wee Wonders Alasdair Good said that the event is designed to give young players the opportunity to get to play some golf on a smaller course than usual with a different format to make it more enjoyable.
Nick Dougherty is from Liverpool and began playing professionally in 2001. Highlights of his career so far include a win at the BMW International Open this year.
