A pair of young golfers have claimed that sporting bright or bold golf trousers on when they are out on the links is a benefit for their game.Speaking to Varsity 845, high school student Austen Speirs explained that he found a great blue and red pair in Italy while he was on a spring break trip.
The youngster claimed that he "always plays better" when he wears brightly-coloured golf trousers.
A teammate of Mr Speirs Nick Germain told the same news provider that he enjoys wearing his blue and white checkerboard pants when he is playing, as they are such a change from the grey uniform that he has to wear to school.
He remarked: "They are loud and boisterous. They draw a lot of attention to me and it boosts my confidence."
If people are looking for golf gifts for junior players, some bold trousers may be the way to go and official Ryder Cup supplier Glenmuir may have just the pair.
One top professional who always seems to have a loud pair of golf trousers on is Ian Poulter, who recently stated that pink is like a signature colour for him.
