Children the world over could be teeing off in brand new golf apparel in the new year, according to golf clothing manufacturer Kids Tee Off.The producer of the KTO brand explains that Santa Claus will be delivering golf apparel to stockings and sacks in a number of households.
Founder and managing director Pamela Wigglesworth warns, though, that young players must be protected when taking part in the outdoors sport.
"It's great to see the number of kids entering the sport and to have the opportunity to offer them fun and fashionable styles," she comments.
"However, we feel it is important to stress to the public that not all clothing provides the protection that kids need."
This is due to the fact that children taking part in golf may be outside when the sun is at its hottest - between 10:00 and 16:00.
One way to protect against the heat of the sun could be with a Glenmuir 100 per cent cotton junior golf GK cap.
