There may soon be an increasing number of fashionable golf shirts sold in pairs, as a set of twins looking like stars of the future.

The success being enjoyed by a set of young twins may stoke the demand for matching fashionable golf shirts, with the pair poised to become the youngest players ever to represent Britain and Ireland.

Leona and Lisa Maguire are pictured on Golf365 in identical golf apparel - navy jumpers, white caps and white-collared tops - and the 15-year-old sisters' look could be copied by other young golfers.

They have been named in the first team for the tie between the Great Britain and Ireland squad and the US from June 11th to 13th, which will make them the youngest players to play for the side as they do not turn 16 until November.

Both Maguires have represented Europe in the Junior Ryder Cup already and could be set to start a new golf fashion trend if they continue to wear the same outfits.

Golf Blogger reported that the twins helped Loreto College Cavan win a third consecutive Irish Schools Senior Cup title this month.
