Stuck for ideas on how to wear the latest golf fashion?

Those planning on visiting the FBR Open in the US have been advised to wear suitable golf clothing to make sure they are comfortable at the event.

ABC15.com says that for men visiting the tournament, more adventurous golf apparel such as plaid shorts can be worn - but it can be tricky to carry off the look.

The site advises that men steer clear of golf clothing such as "crazy plaid pants" and instead choose shorts which sit just above the knee teamed with a polo shirt.

If men are planning to dress in plainer golf apparel, they could pick a "nice pair of boot-cut jeans or slacks" and team them with a polo shirt or button up dress shirt.

Women could be wise to leave the heels at home in case they find their stilettos sink into the grass.

Golf clothing is an important consideration when taking to the course, as golfers could find that temperature and climate could affect their game.
