Golfers don colourful golf fashion for tournamentGolfing fan Lesley Breyley is celebrating after putting to victory in a golf tournament in Devon, it has been reported.

According to This is South Devon, Ms Breyley, who is the current competitions secretary at the Churston golf club, managed to get a score that put her top of all three divisions in an the annual ladies captain's day event at the club.

The source notes that after scooping a "quite magnificent" score of 40 points, which was the top score of the day, Ms Breyley was "stunned" to have won.

"I am absolutely thrilled to bits to have 40, but I really thought that there would be better scores," she said.

Those who took part in the event were encouraged to wear their brightest items of golf apparel.

According to the report from the event, the weather was ideal for a game of golf, which could have meant that the ladies taking part were glad of short sleeved golf shirts or golf accessories such as visors to shield their face from the sun.
