Glenmuir has launched a new golf fashion item

With winter fast approaching, purchasing new golf waterproofs is likely to be high on the agenda of any player.

Just because it's cold, windy and rainy, that does not mean taking to the fairways is impossible - in fact, some golfers enjoy such conditions more as they are provided with a bigger challenge than on still, summer's days.

The manufacturer has reacted to a new golf fashion trend being seen in both the men's and women's games by launching new quilted gilets for both sexes.

These products - named the Ossian and Poppy - feature Glenmuir's trademark Storm Bloc weatherproofing technology, meaning they offer the perfect blend of style and substance.

Brian Mair, marketing director at Glenmuir, said the clothing offers "that extra bit of warmth" without being restrictive on the course.
