Glenmuir has released a new set of winter gold trousers and the product combines functionality and performance to give people an edge in the colder months.

A new range of winter golf trousers has been unveiled by Glenmuir.

The latest products have been designed especially for winter and seek to protect men and women from the cold.

Both the Hudson (male) and Vivien (female) come with a "comfortable stretch bonded fabric" that means they are water resistant, as well as stylish to wear.

It is hoped players who opt for the golf apparel will be able to benefit from freedom of movement.

Glenmuir marketing director Brian Mair said: "Golfers can be sure that the very best fabric technology is being used to beat the conditions."

Both sets of trousers are available in black and navy.

The Autumn Winter 2011 collection from Glenmuir consists of three new colour schemes; Aviator (black, brown, grey and cream), Titanium (blue, black, white and grey) and Twilight (pink, blue, white and stone).

It comes after Glenmuir golf apparel fan Colin Montgomery travelled to Afghanistan to give troops the chance to see the Ryder Cup up close and personal.
