Glenmuir-sponsored Marjet van der Graaff and partner Christel Boeljon are performing well in the first round of the Comunitat Valenciana Nations Cup.

Marjet van der Graaff - who is sponsored by golf fashion brand Glenmuir - and playing partner Christel Boeljon have started well in their defence of the Comunitat Valenciana Nations Cup.

The unique LPGA event, which sees competing pairs represent their respective countries got underway today (April 22nd) at La Sella Resort in Denia, Spain.

And van der Graaff - who is performing in top-of-the-range Glenmuir golf clothing - and Boeljon are, at the time of writing, tied for sixth place on four-under-par, joining Italy and Denmark on the same score.

Tied for third place are Sweden, US and France, while Austria and Spain are out in front on six-under.

In a bizarre twist to the tournament, the Austrian duo are having to share clubs, after Stefane Michl arrived in Spain with no clothes or equipment, due to the travel caused by the volcanic ash produced by an eruption Iceland.
