Victoria Beckham's choice of golf clothing made the headlines this weekend as she enjoyed a round in Beverly Hills.

However, her golf apparel will not have hampered her game - as she was only watching while sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz played.

Victoria's not-so-posh blue jeans and slashed jersey might not be welcomed as suitable golf clothing away from the exclusive Beverly Hills course, either.

But her plain blue baseball cap would probably do little to offend even the most stringent of golf apparel rules.

Golf fashion fans keen to emulate her look - at least as far as the hat - could choose the Newport men's Ryder Cup 2010 cap as a contemporary way to do so.

Available in a similar blue to Victoria's own golf cap, it also bears the Ryder Cup championship crest.

Whether rooting for the US Ryder Cup team in Beverly Hills or supporting their European rivals in Burgess Hill, the cap could be an ideal way to display a love for golf fashion - and for the game as a whole.
