Donning the best golf fashion is an important consideration for female golfers.

When women don their golf apparel and take to the golf course, what golf fashion they choose to wear is as vital as the scores which they achieve, it has been said.

According to the Daily Herald, "it doesn't just matter who wins or loses, it's also who looks better playing the game".

The newspaper noted that at the Solheim Cup, which is set to take place this weekend, spectators at the tournament are likely to be checking out what golf clothing the women are wearing.

As well as this, those female golfers taking to the course can expect to have their golf clothing "unofficially judged" by their rivals

The clothing for the US team has been provided by golf apparel manufacturer Ashworth Golf.

Vice-president of the firm Eddie Fadel told the source that women golfers are often more concerned about golf fashion than their male counterparts.

However, male players such as John Daly and Ian Poulter are passionate about golf apparel and both have their own golf clothing line.
