Golf tour could call for all types of golf clothing

The new schedule for the Ladies European Tour has been announced, which will see players donning their golf clothing and hitting the course in 27 different events in 20 countries.

The new timetable was announced by the tour's executive director Alexandra Armas and includes stops in countries such as Morocco and China.

As well as this, the golf apparel clad gamers on the ladies' tour will be heading to New Zealand, Scotland, Turkey and Slovakia.

"There are still some details to be confirmed, such as venues and prize money, but these will be announced in the coming months and we will be playing at quality golf courses. We also anticipate that total prize money will be at least equal to, if not greater, than in 2009," said Ms Armas.

The season will begin in February at the Pegasus Golf Club in New Zealand, an event which could see British players used to playing in warm golf apparel swap their clothing for some cooler golf fashion.
