Golf player and business woman Annika Sorenstam marries Mike McGee

Swedish golf star and golf apparel line owner Annika Sorenstam got married to her boyfriend of three years over the weekend.

Ms Sorenstam wed Mike McGee, the son of former PGA Tour player Jerry McGee.

As well as being a successful golfer, Ms Sorenstam owns a fragrance line, a golf apparel brand and several golf courses.

She also hosts an annual golfing tournament.

The wedding was held at the Lake Nona Golf and Country Club.

Ms Sorenstam retired a few weeks ago after 72 victories on the LPGA Tour, reports the Associated Press.

She will appear at the PGA Merchandise show in Orlando soon, where items of golf apparel will be on display, as will sporting equipment and other golf gifts.

This year's show will feature a new fashion gallery of the latest golf apparel and accessories, according to the website.

The "hottest golf fashion" will be shown and attendees will be able to watch indoor and outdoor demos.
