It'll be golf shirts this Christmas, according to one retailer of golf apparel and other sporting goods.

Golf gifts have been making the headlines recently - and today is no exception, with golf shirts the latest recommended present for a loved one this Christmas. The suggestion comes from Jerry Johnson, owner of sporting goods retailer Jerry's Scoreboard, in an interview with the Times Record News.
He explains that functional clothing such as golf shirts are sought after in the run-up to Christmas.
"They are items they can use every day, regular everyday stuff," he points out.
As well as regular golf shirts, windproof outerwear is suggested as a further functional gift to give this Christmas.
Glenmuir's own range of golf gifts include performance golf clothing for men and ladies.
The Auckland & Hayley ladies' performance golf apparel gift box contains a long-sleeved cotton golf shirt and half-sleeved windshirt fashioned in Glenmuir Storm Bloc fabric.
Protection against both wind and rain is offered by Storm Bloc, while an inner stretch lining helps to keep the wearer cool by allowing the skin to breathe.
