Golf gifts could be an ideal wedding present for golfers getting hitched.

LPGA golfer Lorena Ochoa is to marry her boyfriend at the end of this year, it has been announced.

Any celebrity golfing friends who attend the ceremony, for which a date has been set in December 2009, could find that some new golf apparel could be an ideal present for the bride.

The 27-year-old will marry 39-year-old Andres Conesa, who is director general of airline Aeromexico.

It will be the first time that she has married.

Mr Conesa has been married before and has three children.

According to Fox Sports, Mr Conesa proposed to Ms Ochoa while the couple holidayed in Barcelona in December.

The source notes that Ms Ochoa has "always made it clear" that family is her top priority, saying she will retire from professional golf before having children.

According to her website, Ms Ochoa is also adept at a number of other sports, including tennis, swimming and basketball.
