Golf apparel layers ideal for cold conditions.

Members of a female golf team are advised to wrap up in warm layers of golf apparel for an event which is set to take place today.Daily Texan online newspaper writer Matthew Holmer notes that sea otters often struggle to maintain a constant body temperature and therefore have to rely on their fur to keep the heat in.
He goes on to say that the Texas women's golf team will have to "bundle up warm" in layers of golf clothing to "battle the cold temperatures" at the Indiana Invitational event.
The golf tournament is being held at the Otter Creek Golf Club and the newspaper notes that local weather reports suggest it may be so cold there is a chance of snow.
Head coach Martha Richards said: "We're going to wear layer upon layer of clothing and use hand warmers."
The Independent recently reported that the Old Course at St Andrews in Scotland was "bloody freezing" last weekend, which could make extra golf apparel a wise buy.
