Some fans may not have been surprised to see Paula Creamer wearing pink golf apparel as she held the US Open cup aloft.

A first major title has been won by the player nicknamed the Pink Panther - Paula Creamer - who stuck with her signature colour for the victory.She won the women's US Open at Oakmont Country Golf Club at the weekend and did so wearing a pink ladies' golf shirt and matching ribbon, hat and laces.
Creamer, who has developed a reputation for sporting pink golf apparel on the links, struck a final round of 69, to put her on three-under-par and give her a four-shot lead over her nearest rivals - Suzann Pettersen and Na Yeon Choi.
BBC Sport described the 23-year-old as the best player around currently who had not previously won a major
"It's been an amazing ride. It will be nice to rest with the US Open [title] next to my name," she remarked.
Meanwhile, the Examiner labelled Creamer a "fan favourite" and suggested she had done well to put previous poor form behind her.
