Golf break could call for new golf apparel.

More Brits are planning to take breaks in the UK this year, as people try and cut back on spending during the economic downturn.

And those looking for somewhere to take a trip could find that donning some new golf fashion and hitting a UK golf course is an ideal way to spend a holiday.

Communications manager at UKinbound Helen James said that the tourism industry within the UK offers something for every type of holidaymaker.

She went on to say that the UK offers a wide range of activities, including golfing holidays and cycling breaks.

Figures recently published by VisitEngland show that 63 per cent of Brits are planning on taking a holiday in the UK in 2009.

And golf fans could find that a domestic golfing break gives them an excuse to splash out on some new golf apparel with the money saved by not jetting off abroad.
