Ethan Shelton may be 106 years old, but that did not stop him spending Father's Day enjoying one of his favourite pastimes - wearing golf clothing and hitting the links with his family. The US amateur golfer, who is a few weeks shy of turning 107, headed to Indian Lake Hills course with three other generations of his clan, reports Fox 28.
He explained that hitting the links is a family tradition that he has no plans to stop, despite being well into his twilight years.
And while Mr Shelton admitted he is not the player he once was, he still has lots of fun playing golf.
"The doctor told me to get out and play," he explained, adding he is a better driver than he is a putter.
In 2007, 102-year-old Elsie McLean hit the headlines after getting on her golf clothing and becoming the oldest person to ever make a hole-in-one on a regulation golf course.
